Admissions Requirements
Listed below are some of the specific requirements that Southeastern Career Institute has established for admission. Our team of Admissions Representatives will answer any questions you have about our requirements or procedures.
An applicant to Southeastern Career Institute must meet one of the following standards:
- Be a high school graduate, or
- Possess a General Education Development (GED) certificate, or
- Possess a Home Study certificate or transcript from a Home Study program that is equivalent to high school level and is recognized by the student's home state, or
- Be beyond the age of compulsory school attendance and demonstrate the ability to benefit (ATB) from the training by passing an independently administered test (Medical Assistant, Medical Office Specialist and Dental Assistant programs only)
- Possess a minimum of an academic associate's degree if the candidate is an applicant for admission to the General Practice Paralegal program
If applicants who currently reside in the United States but attended school in foreign countries are unable to produce the required documents, evidence may include certification from other official sources.
